My Teaching

My teaching is rooted in the belief that education is a collaborative process that helps students build both confidence and curiosity as they engage with complex environmental and social questions. I create classroom environments where diverse strengths are recognized and students can experiment, make mistakes, and grow intellectually without fear of judgment. To support this, I use a mix of assignments that allow students to develop a wide range of skills, including quantitative reasoning, scientific communication, and critical analysis. My ultimate goal is to help students become independent thinkers who can connect evidence with ethical reasoning, and who leave the classroom with tools they can apply in their personal, professional, and civic lives.
